New Finds

This dates after the “Leda by Beuclaire” era. Terms like permalon, permaloid and permalite were used to make the buttons seem modern, but they weren’t used consistently. They were marketing terms rather than real names of plastics.

A large coat button from post 1967 made of polyester.

A partial large Beauclaire card. The buttons have been “pearlised”,ie: coated with grounded fish scales.
