Beauclaire Buttons from 1950
In 1950 General Plastic donated sample/display boards of buttons to the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences for their plastics collection.
Plastic moulded, silver & gold plated.
A couple of these, the rose and the silver round stack (lower right) have appeard in other finishes on recent posts. The crown I have just received on what appears to be a “mini sample card”, made by sewing 2 buttons onto a store card. Shame the crown on the right is damaged.
