1950s Beutron
‘Beutron Originals’ cards are usually found of the size of approximately 6.5 x 9.5 cm. These cards were larger, about 12.5 x 18.5 cm, and I assume, only produced as a store display card. Sorry I didn’t take a better photo at the Victorian Button Collector’s meeting in February!
New Opal-glo cards; early 1950s.
Note that the term Opal-glo referred to the type of plastic used, not the individual styling of the buttons. These are both ‘style 837’, but many more existed.
Opal-glo; late 1950s
This Vogue card may date from the mid 1950s. It was probably supplied by G. Herring, as the buttons look like Opal-Glo examples.
