Button Moulds part 2
Button rings and moulds from Carol.
Note the great variety of sizes, material and styles. Note the 1952 penny and the nut/?gumnut used as moulds!
The metal moulds have been covered with circles of ?linen then knitted fabric. The plastic moulds are a different item within this box.
These would have been sewn onto the garment and sat nice and flush.
The wool/crochet over the ?gumnut has disintergrated.
