Herrman Co

A couple of days ago I mentioned that there were cards marked with a ‘H’, probably from the era of Herrman Company. They show designs later sold on Beauclaire (and Embassy/Woolworths) cards, so I am confident about this. I have a new example. This one has a different decorative border from the usual ‘vine-leaf’ version, but the button design was used by General Plastics, who would have inherited the design.

A partial card with this border can be seen at http://www.austbuttonhistory.com/4th-july-2022/

This partial card sports an unusual General Plastics design from c.1950.
