W. McDonald, Warrnambool

William Donald McDonald (1880-1947) was born in Wangoom. From at least 1912 until 1934 he was listed as living and working in Warrnambool as a tailor. He served during WW1 in the AIF.

Victorian Military Forces

This has the backmark of Stokes & Martin Melb., so dates around 1880-1893. It also sports the “incorrect” variation of the garter buckle to the right.
