Circa 1950 Beauclaire Card

These are the first we’ve seen on a store card; although these type of “button within a button” do turn up in button tins, and they are seen on a 1950 General Plastics sample card:

These “escutcheon” set into the lucite is actually a button that could also be sold on its own.
