Circa 1950 General Plastics (and similar) Buttons
Pat has found some examples, some that were definately made by General Plastics ltd, and some that, due to the similar construction and shanks, may be.
General Plastics may have used third party shanks for these type of lucite/casein with inserted escutcheons, as examples exist with both a wire loop shank, and impressed metal disk shanks.
These two buttons may be from the same era (1950), but have a completely different shank. I have no idea who made them.
