Landico

Landico Pty. Ltd. manufactured metal buttons and buckles from 152 Sydney Road, Brunswick from at least 1949 to 1956. They may have had a connection with G. Herring, as a couple of the designs they produced are identical to plastic buttons produced by that firm at the same time; the round button above being an example of this. (See examples below.). Did both companies use the design under license from an American firm, or did one use the other’s design?
