New Beutron Finds

Early-mid 1960s

I don’t know what “siliconised for permanent colour” means.

Probably mid 1970s.

This style button appeared on Embassy branded cards from the earliest examples (?1950). A simple 2 hole sew through with a subtle ridge around the circumfrence, in opaque plastic.

Pre 2001

In 2001 Beutron Ltd became Beutron Pty Ltd, then were bought out by Leutenegger and cards of buttons were marked with their name. This card still has “Beutron Ltd” printed on the back. The buttons make me think of lemon drops!
