Astor Buttons

These cards all have shrink wrapping of the buttons onto the cards. I wonder if it was fiddly to position the buttons, as I notice some are slightly crooked! The prices are from 30 to 65 cents, so probably date from the early 1970s.

From the Australian Women’s Weekly magazine of 12th November 1975 came these two patterns using Astor buttons. Personally, I find  the knitted holter top  and the gaping front of the cardigan a bit strange. The ’70s were the decade that style forgot!
