Woolworths Brand Buttons
In the mid 1950s Woolworths wanted to delineate their lines of buttons; ‘Spares’ for workwear, ‘Kiddietone’ for children’s novelty, and ‘Hi-Style’ for fashion.

For other variations of the painted squirrels, see http://www.austbuttonhistory.com/australian-button-history/ww2-and-onwards-including-leather-buttons-and-obscure-companies/babies-and-childrens-buttons/#Kiddietone
The backs of the cards have similar spiels, and indicate they were all made by General Plastics, as the same printing is found on the back of this era’s Beauclaire cards of buttons.
The cards below date from 1960 onwards.
