C.1968 Beutron sold at Kmart.
According to Wikipedia, G.J. Coles, in partnership with the American S.S. Kresge Company, started to develop Kmart stores in Australia in 1968. The first store opened on 30th April 1969 in East Burwood, Victoria, with an estimated 40,000 people visiting that day. Kresge is no longer a shareholder. The company is now a subsidiary of Wesfarmers. It is a chain of discount department stores.
