Unusually large buttons on the belt, collar and cuffs for this era.
The Sun (Sydney), 26th May 1925 page 13. Surely the buttons below are only large in quantity, rather than in size?
“Large buttons are still popular as trimming, and form a smart finish to the new overblouses.”For 1932, I’m a little surprised at the skimpiness of the top of the “beach pyjamas” in on the left. Judging from the commentary, so was the journalist!
