Mention of this firm was made in 1907, however, it wasn’t registered until 1912. One of the directors, was James Burns of Burns Philp, who would later start the above described enterprise, the “Australian Pearlbutton Manufacturing Co. Ltd.” The form was a successful one, and operated until at least 1943.
