New Finds from Carol

I’m not sure when these date from, ?1990s onwards. Complete cards have the instructions “tear single strip here” so they must be produced in sheets. They also have (not seen here) the button size in both Imperial and metric; presumable produced over seas for multiple markets.

The card dates ?late 1980s. This design deserves to be called “classic”, dating from c.1949. See http://www.austbuttonhistory.com/uncategorized/28th-july-2020/

I have a soft spot for these style of white buttons with transfer designs. See the Embassy page for more of them http://www.austbuttonhistory.com/australian-button-history/g-j-coles-embassy-brand-1929-1994/
