Tailor’s Button

E. T. Walsh, Sydney

 

 

In  June 1885 Mr Edward Thomas Walsh  (1858-1918) of Bentinck Street, Bathhurst, held a  “superior household furniture clearing-out sale” as he was leaving the district to set up in Sydney. He worked in the tailoring department of David Jones before setting up the “E.T. Walsh and Co.”, fashionable tailoring establishment, originally located at 112 Bathhurst Street, then in 1889  moving to George Street, Sydney, then ater again to Pitt Street
