The State Clothing Factory

The State Clothing Factory was established in 1902 to carry out Government contracts, to provide good working conditions for workers producing good quality clothing for a good price. It continued making government clothing such until bought out by the Australian Defence Industries in 1990 to provide uniforms for the defence forces.
