The ‘Colour Matched’ Beutron has the dual pricing that dates it to 1966-67. The Woolworths button, also made by Beutron Australia, has only decimal pricing, so dates soon after, circa 1968.

Starting from around 1986, there was reduced industry protection, with the reduction of import tariffs. Local button manufacturing suffered as cheap imports flooded the markets. These metalised plastic buttons were no doubt made for Beutron overseas.
